Top Tip Tuesday

Just a quick post to let you know about a fabulous new blog that Leanne has started. It's purpose is to enable fellow crafters to share their own tips and tutorials - what a great idea!
Anyway, to celebrate the launch of her new blog, Leanne is giving away some yummy Magnolia stamps.

Dandelion Wisps

I just had to share this super-cute card I made for a friend. I used a lovely new digi from Pink Petticoat called Dandelion Wisps - click on the Blinkie on the sidebar to go to the fabulous download boutique at Pink Petticoat! The X-Cut butterfly punch is so easy to use and I even managed to decorate the envelope too :)

I have been busy (again!) making more DT cards for Little Claire but, unfortunately, I cant share them with you till the release date. I can tell you, though, that they are extremely cute and Christmassy .... :)

Thanks for looking x

Eeeek! Where did my background go?

I've had to choose a new background from The Cutest Blog on the Block because my old one 'disappeared'!!
Anyway, it probably needed a revamp and there were lots of lovely backgrounds to choose from. However, I would like to change the colour of the writing for my posts and I have forgotten how to do this!! I know that you can select a colour each time you write a post but I thought you could customise your settings so that all your posts were a default colour.
If anyone knows how to do this, I would really appreciate your help!!

No cards to show you today but I am busy working behind-the-scenes on DT cards for Little Claire Designs. Cant wait to share them with you!

Have a nice weekend xx

Thank You Music Teacher!

Here's a card I made for my son's Cornet Teacher. I used rub-ons for the sentiment and used a gem to make the note A, which replaces the letter 'A'. Those distress inks come in so handy too! The card comes complete with a matching envelope.
