Two 'For You' Cards

Hi folks,
Here are my entries for the Stamp Something sketch challenge. I stamped and embossed onto vellum to produce a soft image.
Unfortunately, they are both bereavement cards, hence the dark colours. Hopefully, they will bring comfort to their recipients.
Thank you for looking,
All the best for 2009,

My First Memory Book!!

Hi, I have attempted to make a Memory Book for my mum. She doesn't live near us and misses out on such a lot, so I made this memory book for her birthday. Hope she likes it!!!

I am also entering this into the Stamp Something Challenge - my second entry for this weeks competition! The flower on the front has been stamped and triple embossed (I tried to keep to the theme of peacock colours by using purple, pink, blue and green).

Good Luck star card

Hi, I thought you might like to see the card I made for my step-daughter when she went to university. Her brothers made the Owl and Paddington Bear pages, so it was a real family effort! My hubby reckons it was big enough to be a book - it was certainly too big to be sent in then post!! I am entering this card for the Stamp Something Challenge.

Hope you like it,

Louise xx

Christmas Cards

Here are the Christmas cards I just told you about (although this is probably out of sync now!!), never mind . . .

Home Sweet Home and Christmas cards, bags and tags

Hi, I recently bought the Occasions and Festive Occasions CD from Crafters Companion and I have used them loads. I know it seems like cheating but it comes in handy for 'quick makes' and unusual occasions. Here are a few of the cards I have made - the Christmas cards come with tags and a gift bag. Hope you like them,

Happy crafting,

FOUR new cards in one day!!!

Well, I seem to have been very creative today. I used some of the free papers from Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine and made these cards.
I am going to add them to a stash of cards I have already made and sell them at the school fair tomorrow evening to raise funds for the children to go to camp. Hope they sell!!
Hopefully I'll get round to making a card for a challenge soon!

Two cards in one day!

Here are today's cards. I have made them using Pink Petticoat images, numbers and backing papers. On the "1st" card, I used glamour dust on the number; glaze pens to colour the image; and the card stock is pearlescent.
On the "50th" card I triple embossed the numbers with clear embossing powder; coloured the image with H2Os; matted the image with silver holographic card; and used blue ribbon with a silver thread running through it.

I am entering them into the Stamp Something "glitter and sparkle" challenge.

Hope you like them and thank you for looking,

Hugs, Louise x
