Doggy Birthday - Allsorts & Stamp Something Challenge

Where has the time gone? Why haven't I posted on my blog for well over a month? I've just been so busy at work and jobs at home that I've let it slip :(
I have been making cards though, so hopefully, over the next few days, I'll find the time to upload some of my work :)

Now on to the Allsorts Challenge - it is to incorporate Kraft paper into your card and if you use Pink Petticoat products you can enter the challenge twice!!
The Stamp Something Challenge is to use brown on your card, so this card fits the bill!

I printed Kraft paper straight onto my card (it's from the Big Fella download) and the stripey paper from the White Stripes download (bet you couldn't guess that one!!)

I made the card for my mum's friend who is a dog-lover, hope she likes it!

Thanks for looking

50th Birthday Sparkle - shaker card

I'm entering this card into TWO challenges: the Stamp Something challenge as it fits the bill perfectly! The challenge is called 'Black, White and One Colour Somethings'; and the One Stop Craft Shop challenge - 'Numbers'.
You'll have to look carefully for the number '50' - I've hidden it discreetly on a piece of clear shrink plastic tied to the ribbon at the side of the card!
I made the card for a friends 50th and the accompanying gift pouch was the perfect place to put her rolled up gift vouchers!

Hope you like it!

Mother's Day project - Stamp Something Challenge

I made this notelet set for my mum for Mother's Day. I used Pink Petticoat papers and images, coloured with chalks and added sparkle with Glamour Dust. She loved it and has found it really useful.
I am entering these notelets into the Stamp Something Challenge - Clean and Simple Thank Yous in the style of DT member Lauren.

Something New and Seeing Spots!

**UPDATE**
I'm also entering this card for the Penny Black Saturday Challenge - Going Dotty! It seems that this theme is becoming popular - I have made quite a few 'dotty' cards but this is the only photo I took, hence the necessity to use the same post - hope that's ok?

Hi,
This is my entry for the Stamp Something and Papertake Weekly challenges.
Stamp Something: You have to make a card either using Something New, for Something New (eg. new job) or using a New Technique.
I used my luscious new Prima flowers, some fabulous new pink card and a card blank from a new packet of Anitas cards!
Papertake Weekly Challenge: include Spots on your card!
The card is for my friend's birthday on the 6th January, hope she likes it!!
Happy Crafting and Happy New Year,

Two 'For You' Cards

Hi folks,
Here are my entries for the Stamp Something sketch challenge. I stamped and embossed onto vellum to produce a soft image.
Unfortunately, they are both bereavement cards, hence the dark colours. Hopefully, they will bring comfort to their recipients.
Thank you for looking,
All the best for 2009,

My First Memory Book!!

Hi, I have attempted to make a Memory Book for my mum. She doesn't live near us and misses out on such a lot, so I made this memory book for her birthday. Hope she likes it!!!

I am also entering this into the Stamp Something Challenge - my second entry for this weeks competition! The flower on the front has been stamped and triple embossed (I tried to keep to the theme of peacock colours by using purple, pink, blue and green).

Thanks for looking,

Good Luck star card

Hi, I thought you might like to see the card I made for my step-daughter when she went to university. Her brothers made the Owl and Paddington Bear pages, so it was a real family effort! My hubby reckons it was big enough to be a book - it was certainly too big to be sent in then post!! I am entering this card for the Stamp Something Challenge.

Hope you like it,

Two cards in one day!

Here are today's cards. I have made them using Pink Petticoat images, numbers and backing papers. On the "1st" card, I used glamour dust on the number; glaze pens to colour the image; and the card stock is pearlescent.
On the "50th" card I triple embossed the numbers with clear embossing powder; coloured the image with H2Os; matted the image with silver holographic card; and used blue ribbon with a silver thread running through it.

I am entering them into the Stamp Something "glitter and sparkle" challenge.

Hope you like them and thank you for looking,

Hugs, Louise x
