Wardrobe

I made this card for my MIL's birthday, using the new Wardrobe stamp from the Room With A View collection from Little Claire's Designs.

I used my Pink Petticoat papers from the Vintage Rose Collection, coloured the image with Promarkers and added little buttons.

There is even a tie rack stamp for the inside of the wardrobe door!

And the sentiment is perfect - I don't know any woman who loves filling her wardrobe with clothes!

Now, on to the huge gift bag:

I used a 12x12 piece of MME cardstock to make a Sour Cream Container (why are they called that?!!) ...

I secured the end with a ribbon and added a huge handmade flower, spritzed with Cosmic Shimmer Mist.

Have a lovely day xx

Butterfly

A quick card made with a Marianne D butterfly die, Nesties and my beautiful PP papers - I nearly couldn't bear to use them!!! (is it just me? lol!)

I inked the edges of the card and papers with Distress inks and coloured the butterly with Brilliance ink (the pearlescent effect doesn't show very well on the photo); added peel-offs and pearls, et voila, a quick but effective card. Thanks for looking x

Little Claire's Challenge 5 - Animals

Here's my DT example for Challenge 5 over at Little Claire's Designs blog.

The theme is ANIMALS and I used the ever-so-cute Duck Mum. I chose a simple colour scheme, coloured the image with Promarkers, atyou Spica pens and a white gel pen, then finished off the card with my lovely new MS Zig Zag punch.

What do you use?

I'm always amazed at how a simple stamped image can be transformed from this ......

I use Promarkers and atyou Spica pens for added subtle sparkle. I've based my colour choices on the three papers below:

Claire's Bistro - Sneeky Peak!

Welcome back for another sneeky peak!

'Claire's Bistro' is a new set from the Room With A View series and it is just fabulous.

Here are three examples - the first is using Pink Petticoat papers in a mocha and blue colour scheme.

The cafe scene inside the window coordinates with the papers ... ... and I even decorated the inside with the gorgeous bay tree.
I made the second card for my MIL on Mother's Day.
I cut the card blank with my Nesties and used a striking yellow and black colour scheme.

I decorated the inside too.

For the third card, I used some distressing techniques that I learnt at a workshop I recently went to.

I used Distress Inks to colour the card and make the panel ...

... and painted the images with Distress Inks too.

This set is to be launched this Thursday 7 April at 11am live on Create and Craft. I hope you can tune in to watch Steve do his fab demos.

April club set

Here is the April club set from Little Claire's Designs. It's called 'The right time' and it features the cutest owls I ever saw!

I made two contrasting cards - one quite detailed and colourful ... ... and the other a plain tag.
I coloured the images with Promarkers and added gems and ribbon from my stash.

Sneeky Peak!

Here's a sneeky peak on a new release from Little Claire's Designs. It's called Spikey Flower Set and it is sooo lovely!

I created a background with alcohol inks and stamped the main image in black...

...then I stamped the corner design and coloured them with atyou Spica pens and added my beloved Glamour Dust for extra sparkle!

The second card was stamped the same way but I folded the card front back for a more dimensional effect.

I stamped the sentiment inside.
