Oh Man!

Hi folks,

I've had to keep this card under wraps for a few days, just in case my hubby had a sneaky peek!!

I made it using the 'Oh Man!' stamp set from Little Claire's Designs. It's such a fab set and could be used for so many different occasions.

I was inspired by a demo I went to recently to use shrink plastic again (thanks Amy x) and it came in very handy for this card. I used the tie and beer mug stamps to make embellishments.

I paper-pieced the chair and footstool using paper from the 'Up, Up and Away' pack, which I also used for the backing paper.

The rest of the image and the beer glass were coloured in with my trusty Promarkers.
Thanks for looking :)
Nearly the weekend, yayy!

Happy Birthday, Pete xxxxx

This card is absolutely brilliant. He will love it!!! Thanks for your comment on my fusioned table. I had an email from Sheena's husband this morning, asking if Sheena could show pictures of my table on the Create and Craft show today. I agreed and watched it myself!! I am sure you will enjoy your work shop as she is a great character. Carol S. xx

Hi Louise, I first bought the Daisy stamp set on its own as I wanted to see if I liked it. I used a set of little pots of acrylic paints I bought in Tesco for £3.99 for 18 colours!! I just mixed them to get the exact colours I wanted. I then bought the Poppies, Rose and Sweet Pea set, all from Sheena's site. I haven't bought any of the paints.
I used Eco acrylic paints from a Craft Shop where I was a Tutor and still get a discount! I used the Rose leaf stamp go with the Blackberries as I didn't want the other stamps in that set. Hope this helps. If I can be of any more help you can email me anytime. I have ticked the email box. Hugs, Carol S.
