Sneaky Peek ... Day 3

I'm back with another Sneaky Peek of the new releases from Little Claire's.  Today, I'm showing you a card I made a sweet image from the Cutie Patootie range:

I customised some design paper and a couple of tags using distress inks and gold embossing powder.  I stamped and coloured the image with Distress Inks and added lace and a distressed chipboard flourish to finish.
This really is such a cute image!

Another Sneaky Peek ... beautiful Poppies

I'm back with my second Sneaky Peek.  Today, I'm showing you a stamp from the new Red Gingham range called 'Poppies'.  It's absolutely gorgeous and is probably one of my favourites:

I crackled the background on a piece of mountboard and painted over it with some beautiful Silkies paint (which I won in a raffle!).  Next, I stamped and embossed the image with black embossing powder.  I painted over the flowers with the Silkies paint again to give depth to the colour.
Then, I aged the edge of the mountboard with Black Soot Distress Ink and highlighted it with Wow gold embossing powder.
I added silver eyelets with my Crop-a-dile and threaded some gorgeous black and white gingham ribbon through for the loop.  Finally, I attached the calendar with two pieces of ribbon.

Hope you like it!

Remember to visit Little Claire's Blog for your chance to name and win the full set of Cutie Patootie stamps :)

Come back tomorrow for another Sneaky Peek!

Ruffle Flower

Just a quick post:

Made using Ruffle Flower in the style of Amy Shaw - thanks for the inspiration Amy xx

4 down ... 46 to go!!!

One month later than planned, I have finally started making my Xmas cards!  Oh well, better late than never ...

I used Christmas Frames from the Cutting Cafe, a Papermania Christmas Tree embossing folder (free with magazine) and Coordinations Whitewash card.  After sanding the card, I highlighted it with brilliance ink pads (Rocket Red Gold and Pearlescent Olive), coloured organza ribbon to match and added Stickles to the tree.

I'm off to make some crackle backgrounds for my next project now ... I'll share it later.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend xx

Christmas House - October Club stamp

Here is the new October club set from Little Claires - it's called Christmas House and it is GORGEOUS :)

I have made 2 cards with it.  The first is a gatefold card in a contemporary colour scheme.

I used Distress Ink for the sky and added Polar White Flower Soft for the snow:

The second card is a box card in traditional reds and greens:

The branch is a Marianne D die cut, I coloured the image and sentiment with Promarkers and added Glamour Dust for some extra sparkle:

This card is featured as one of the monthly projects sent out with the club stamp - yay!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend xx
