I luurrvve Inkadinkado!

I made these cards for friends at work.  Don't you just love these stamps ... each time I use them, I can see something different.

For both cards, I used my Brayer and Big & Juicy ink pad to create the backing papers and I also brayered over embossed card.  The linen texture of the card creates an interesting background.
I stamped and embossed both images and painted them with a paintbrush and the same Big & Juicy ink pad.
I decided not to go over the top with embellishments, as I didn't want to take the focus off theses beautiful images.

Have a good week xx

Helloooooo Promarkers!!

It has been so long since I used my Promarkers!  However, they are back with a vengeance now, having made this card today and another one nearly completed that I will share next week.

Stamp: Going Out - Little Claire
Coloured with Promarkers
Embellishments: Card Candi, greeting - Craftwork Cards

Valentine gifts

A quick post to share what I made my hubby for Valentine's Day.  I used my Cameo to make the card and the gift bag.
I sprayed the black card with irridescent Spray & Sparkle and just added a red heart gem.

The cutting file for the bag is from The Cutting Cafe - see the link in the sidebar.  It is made from Coordinations cardstock and after distressing it, I added some gems.  The bag didn't turn out quite how I had planned - I should really have used more 'masculine' colours!! and I would have decorated it with different papers BUT I ran out of time :(
However, I'm pleased that I learnt how to use my Cameo a bit more!

Hope you've had a good week and enjoy the weekend xx

Awww!

Firstly, a warm welcome to my new followers - I hope you enjoy your visit to my blog :)

I had so much fun making these cards - the stamps are so cute and the K&Co paper pack is one I received in a swap and they seem to go perfectly with this shabby chic style.

I used my Nesties to cut out the images, the swirls are cut with a Marianne D die and the little roses were cut on my Cameo.  See the little soft red buttons?  They are Card Candi chips coloured with Distress Ink and, in 'real life', they look like velvet ... lush :)

Hope you're all having a good week
Hugs xx

Are you ready for Valentine's Day?

Here are some cards and boxes I have made for Valentine's Day, although all of them could be used for other occasions too, like anniversaries.
I used my fabby new Cameo machine to cut out elements for each card.

Why is it so difficult to get good photos of mirri card?  Grrr!
I cut the heart background with the Cameo and the heart embellishment was part of the 'waste'!

The stripey heart motif was cut using the Cameo:

... and so were the welded hearts:

These heart handle boxes were also cut using the Cameo along with the heart embellishments...

... and so was this cute heart-handled bag

Did I mention that I love my new Cameo??? lol!
I have only used it for basic designing so far but the possiblities are endless ... I cant wait till half term to have more time to explore it!

Hope you're all having a good week and the snow has gone in your part of the world.
Keep warm hugs xxx

Look what I've found!

I have just been looking through my photos and I've stumbled upon some cards I made for Little Claire.  This is a collection of 6 garden themed stamps.

Birdhouse Garland:

Birdtable:

Deckchair:

Garden Set:

Trailing Birdhouse:
Although all the stamp sets are beautiful, I think my favourite one is the Garden Set.  Which is your favourite?

Most of the cards were used with Craftwork Cards paper and embellished with Card Candi.

Hope you've had a good weekend and the snow has almost gone now.
Hugs xx
