Anniversary

It was my 17th wedding anniversary on Sunday and this is what I made for my wonderful hubby:

Circle frame and sentiment cut and printed with my Cameo;
Swirl stamps - Artistic Stamper
Ink - Walnut Stain Distress Ink
Embellishments - pearls, seambinding from stash; Card Candi (stamped with alphabet stamps)
Blue and Kraft card from stash

Frame painted with white acrylic paint and stamped with Black Soot DI.  Then stamped with Versamark and brushed with gold and silver mica powder, then sprayed with gold Spray and Sparkle to seal it.

Split letter designed on Cameo Designer software and drawn with Silhouette pen on my Cameo. Mounted on black card and sprayed with god Spray and Sparkle.  Flowers and hearts also cut on Cameo, then stamped with Versamark and dusted with mica powders.

The frame has taken pride of place in out lounge and my hubby was very pleased with it :)
I was worried he would think it was too girly!!

Anyway, it's back to work for me tomorrow ... cant believe that 6 weeks have gone so quickly.  I need at least a couple more weeks to do what I had planned lol!!

Hope you're all having a fab week, enjoy the sun xx

25th Wedding Anniversary

This is my second post today, scroll down to see my cute mini album :)

I seem to have made a few anniversary cards recently and here's another one:

The colour scheme is a simple white and silver.  I embossed an amazing heart wreath stamp by Chloe Endean with Wow Platinum embossing powder, added layers and texture with linen card and my Swiss Dots embossing folder.  White organza ribbon, white flowers and an embossed edge to the layers finished off the card.

Silver Wedding Anniversary

I was recently asked to make a 25th Wedding Anniversary card, incorporating an original wedding invite and using blue as an accent colour!  The bridesmaids' dresses were bright blue.  Mmmm, this was a challenge because I didn't want to damage the invite in anyway but I still had to attach it to the card and embellish it.
This is what I came up with:

The matted layers are pearlescent cream card, silver mirri card and blue Bazzill ...

I attached the wedding invite using a 2 in 1 glue pen and secured it closed with an organza ribbon bow and a heart (attached to matted layers only) ...

The roses, flourishes and heart were cut on my Cameo, coloured with Promarkers and sprayed with Silver Spray & Sparkle ...

I printed the sentiment in grey ink onto smooth white card, cut out with a scalloped Nestie and glittered with Silver Spray & Sparkle ..,.

I also added a panel inside for writing on.  To finish off I added gems and a silver 25 peel off.

Hope you're all having a fabby week ... only one day to go till the weekend ... yayy :)
