Happy St George's Day ...

... and Happy 21st First Date Anniversary to my wonderful hubby!
Soppy, I know but we celebrate this day and here's the card I made for my hubby:

I used a Clarity stamp and stencils, distress ink and embossing powder.

This is my first box card, made for my Mother in Law's birthday.  The Anna Marie stamps are fab and the found Distress Inks to match the lovely Pink Petticoat papers:

And now for something totally different!  I'm now making name plaques for doors:

This one was for a Portsmouth fan:

And finally, two dance cards:

Hope you are all well and you had a lovely Easter break.  For me, I could do with another week off ... there's so much to do!! #goodtimes

A shaped card and wallet set

Happy Wednesday!  I'm having a lovely half term break ... a Spa day, a workshop, shopping tomorrow, trip to the hairdressers on Friday with a good sprinkling of crafting in between!

Today, I'm sharing a beautiful 21 shaped card and matching dollar wallet.  The recipient is going to New York to celebrate her 21st next month!

I designed and cut the 21 shaped card and layers on my Cameo, then coloured them with Pan Pastels and a Sheena swirl stamp.

I cut the flowers using Marianne dies and coloured them with Pans to match the card.

I Googled the size of Dollar notes and designed a wallet using my Hougie board.

Then I decorated it with my Pans and attached a silhouette of New York.  I added lights with my white gel pen.

I was quite pleased with this matching set - even if I do say so myself!!

Enjoy the rest of your week xx

One stencil, two stamps and three inks!

Hello, just stopping by with a last-minute card I was asked to make today.
I headed straight for my Clarity stash and Distress Inks.

I couldn't wait to use my new Sunshine stencil and the Letterbox Sentiments.  This is what I made:

I scored two lines across an A6 piece of silk art card and masked off first the top then the bottom to ink the background and then stencil over the top.

Thinking about it now, I could have made it easier for myself.  I could have just masked off the middle section and inked the top and bottom in one go!!  Oh well, I'll do that next time!!

It's been lovely and sunny and quiet here today, such a nice change from the rain and wind.  Hubby and I had a lovely walk along Cleveleys prom, along with half the population of the Fylde (it seemed)!!

Hope you have a good crafty week and thank you for stopping by xx

It's half term ... yayy!!

It's finally here and ... I ... have ... plans ... to ... craft ... and indulge in wonderful relaxation at Ribby Hall's Aqua Thermal Journey and partake in a workshop.  It's gonna be a great week :)

Here are some recent makes.  First up, is my Valentine's card to my hubby:

The last two cards are orders.  I used a cute teddy from Digistampboutique for this one:

... and a new Clarity stamp for this card:

I am planning on lots of craftiness this week, so I'll be back soon to share my makes with you.
Have a fab weekend xx
