I hope you enjoyed looking at these cards.  Thank you so much for visiting me and I appreciate each and every comment.

Till the next time xxx

PS.  I'd like to say a very big THANK YOU to the lovely Carol.  I was so luck to win her lovely blog candy and I cant wait to start using the lovely ribbons, stamps and gems she sent me.
If you've never visited Carol's page, please pay her a visit as she make some stunning cards and home decor.  Carol's painting with Distress Inks is absolutely beautiful too xx

A shaped card and wallet set

Happy Wednesday!  I'm having a lovely half term break ... a Spa day, a workshop, shopping tomorrow, trip to the hairdressers on Friday with a good sprinkling of crafting in between!

Today, I'm sharing a beautiful 21 shaped card and matching dollar wallet.  The recipient is going to New York to celebrate her 21st next month!

I designed and cut the 21 shaped card and layers on my Cameo, then coloured them with Pan Pastels and a Sheena swirl stamp.

I cut the flowers using Marianne dies and coloured them with Pans to match the card.

I Googled the size of Dollar notes and designed a wallet using my Hougie board.

Then I decorated it with my Pans and attached a silhouette of New York.  I added lights with my white gel pen.

I was quite pleased with this matching set - even if I do say so myself!!

Enjoy the rest of your week xx

It's half term ... yayy!!

It's finally here and ... I ... have ... plans ... to ... craft ... and indulge in wonderful relaxation at Ribby Hall's Aqua Thermal Journey and partake in a workshop.  It's gonna be a great week :)

Here are some recent makes.  First up, is my Valentine's card to my hubby:

The last two cards are orders.  I used a cute teddy from Digistampboutique for this one:

... and a new Clarity stamp for this card:

I am planning on lots of craftiness this week, so I'll be back soon to share my makes with you.
Have a fab weekend xx

Hot Leopard Spots!

Just stopping by to share a couple of recent makes.
The first is using my gorgeous Designs by Ryn Leopard Spots stamp.  The quality of Ryn's stamps is excellent, check out her website by clicking this link.

The second card is commissioned.  I love the harlequin papers by Pink Petticoat.

I'm planning on making some lovely Valentine heart hangers this weekend (as well as the usual washing, cleaning, cooking .... yawn!)
Whatever you're doing, have a good one xx

Happy New Year!

I know it was a few days ago but this is me!!
Happy New Year to my lovely followers, I hope you enjoyed the festive season and that 2014 is a happy, healthy and prosperous one for you xx

Today, I'm sharing with you a cute little plaque I made for my friend.  She recently had a beautiful new Aga fitted in her kitchen and I had just the stamp to make her a little gift:

I stamped the image with Adironack Espresso and coloured it with Promarkers and Distress Inks.

The sentiment is perfect too:

I have also completed my first commissioned card of the year.  I finally had the chance to use my beautiful Anna Marie Blooming Figurine stamp, which I bought in Harrogate back in October.  It was worth the wait though!  I also used my new Heartfelt Creations Sunkissed Fleur stamps and die.  Of course, it was a no-brainer to use my fabulous Clarity stamps to personalise the card.
Here it is:

I used Worn Lipstick DI and London Fog Memento for the stamping and distressing and finished the card off by mounting it on dark silver paper and adding gems.

It's back to work for me tomorrow, I cant believe that TWO weeks have gone already!  I'm in the relaxation zone now and need another week :(  Never mind, it'll soon be half term!

Thank you for visiting, hope you have a good week xx

Five weeks since I last blogged!!!

Well, here goes!  I cant believe my last blog post was 15th September ... I really don't know where the time has gone or why I didn't publish the three lovely comments that my faithful blog followers have left me... SORRY :(

I've been back at work, which has been very busy and quite challenging at times.  I've also been to GNPE Harrogate and Sincerely Yours Papercraft Show at Leigh.  I met some of my crafty friends for a catch up and shopped till I dropped - literally!!

Today, I had a successful meeting with a new shop that's opening nearby and they are taking some of my cards to sell. Yay!!

I've also been making commission cards and have a selection to show you:

As you can see, I have been kept busy with plenty of orders :)

Hope you have a lovely, relaxing weekend xx

Sunday night ... catch up!

Here we are again, it's Sunday night, the X-Factor is on and I CANT just sit and watch it!  Is anyone else like that?  Always needing to be doing something else while watching TV?

Anyway, here are some of my recent makes:

I learnt how to make these fab tea light cards at a Hougie workshop with Kay Rutter.  The drawer contains 4 tea lights.

I designed a wedge shaped envelope to fit the tea light card perfectly.

Well, I'm afraid that's all from me tonight.  Hope you've had a lovely weekend.  I'm back to work on Thursday ... cant believe where SIX weeks have gone!!!
Hugs xx

A quick catch up .... again!!

I've been so busy with getting ready for last week's craft fair, orders and work that I've yet again neglected my blog.
The craft fair was a great success, with more sales and orders that any others that I've done - yayy!
That has resulted in burning the candle at both ends though, working all day at my 'proper' job and then working till late in the evenings too.  The hard work is worth it though :)
Here are some of my recent makes:

 A card for a real Lady ...
... inside the card.  Don't you just love that shoe stamp?

A cute giraffe print 40 shaped card.

A card for someone who has become a Deputy Lord Lieutenant.

It's the first time I've used this Sheena Douglass flourish stamp - wow, it's so lovely and definitely a new favourite.
It did a great job decorating the insert too.

And finally, this is probably my favourite card from today.  It has been inked and stamped with Distress Inks.  The gorgeous fairies are Sheena Douglass stamps and I just added a touch of holographic glitter to their wings and the number 3.

Hope all my lovely followers are well and thank you so much for taking the time to read my blog and leave me comments, I really do appreciate it xx

Dare I say it?  I'll try to blog again soon!!!
Take care xx
