... and Happy 21st First Date Anniversary to my wonderful hubby!
Soppy, I know but we celebrate this day and here's the card I made for my hubby:

I used a Clarity stamp and stencils, distress ink and embossing powder.

This is my first box card, made for my Mother in Law's birthday.  The Anna Marie stamps are fab and the found Distress Inks to match the lovely Pink Petticoat papers:

And now for something totally different!  I'm now making name plaques for doors:

This one was for a Portsmouth fan:

And finally, two dance cards:

Hope you are all well and you had a lovely Easter break.  For me, I could do with another week off ... there's so much to do!! #goodtimes

A shaped card and wallet set

Happy Wednesday!  I'm having a lovely half term break ... a Spa day, a workshop, shopping tomorrow, trip to the hairdressers on Friday with a good sprinkling of crafting in between!

Today, I'm sharing a beautiful 21 shaped card and matching dollar wallet.  The recipient is going to New York to celebrate her 21st next month!

I designed and cut the 21 shaped card and layers on my Cameo, then coloured them with Pan Pastels and a Sheena swirl stamp.

I cut the flowers using Marianne dies and coloured them with Pans to match the card.

I Googled the size of Dollar notes and designed a wallet using my Hougie board.

Then I decorated it with my Pans and attached a silhouette of New York.  I added lights with my white gel pen.

I was quite pleased with this matching set - even if I do say so myself!!

Enjoy the rest of your week xx

Hot Leopard Spots!

Just stopping by to share a couple of recent makes.
The first is using my gorgeous Designs by Ryn Leopard Spots stamp.  The quality of Ryn's stamps is excellent, check out her website by clicking this link.

The second card is commissioned.  I love the harlequin papers by Pink Petticoat.

I'm planning on making some lovely Valentine heart hangers this weekend (as well as the usual washing, cleaning, cooking .... yawn!)
Whatever you're doing, have a good one xx

Latest cards

Just stopping by to share some of my recent makes and yes, this is my second post this month!!! Lol.

For the last two cards, I used my beautiful new Chocolate Baroque Floral Bouquet stamps.  They really are fabulous quality and stamp perfectly.  I made the background using Adironacks on my Gelli plate.  Such a fun technique.

Hope you're all having a fab week, nearly the weekend!!

Where did the week go?

Well, last week flew by with sickness bugs, sleepless nights, a visit to 6th Form College ... oh and work as well!
I still haven't got round to photographing the beautiful cards I made at Maria's Clarity workshop last weekend but, in the meantime, here are some recent cards I've made:

These were made using fabulous sentiments from Pink Petticoat and a felt pointsettia cut with a Marianne die.

The cute baby stamps are from Little Claires.

I designed and cut these shaped cards and butterflies using my Silhouette Cameo. I made the grungy flowers myself.

Hope you all have a good week .... One week till half term for me yayy!!!

Over 3 weeks!!

I CANT believe it's over 3 weeks since I last posted!  I have been so busy travelling up and down the country to look after my mum and trying to fit in school holiday 'stuff' too.  Anyway, I'm glad to report the my mum is doing really well. She seems to be recovering a lot quicker that her first operation las year, so that's a big relief for me.
I also spent THREE whole days sorting out my craft stuff! (and it wasn't even that messy really lol)  I know have a super-organised craft area and homes for everything :)  The downside to that is, thought, that if I 'need' anything else, there might not be anywhere to store it!
I have also made quite a few cards since my last posting, some of them commissions others for personal use and I have even made some Christmas cards ... there, I've said it ... the 'C' word!
Far too much waffling from me now ... here are the cards:

 inside the baby card.

For my son - cant believe he's 15!

Here are my first Christmas cards this year:
Lots of brayering and beautiful stamps from Indigo Blu

More brayering over snowflakes stamped with Versamark:

Phew! What a long post.  I cant even promise the next one will be soon as I'm back at work next week ... the end of SIX weeks!  Where did the time go? Roll on October half term!!!

Happy crafting and hugs xx
