Sending You Sunshine!

Happy Easter to you ... I hope you've had a lovely day with a smattering of sunshine and a smidge of chocolate.

I'm ashamed to say that, despite any good intentions, I have managed to scoff a whole egg today!  However, I did go for a long walk along the prom with hubby and I've done lots of cleaning today ... so maybe it's not as bad as it sounds!!

Anyway, on to today's card.  This is my entry into the Clarity Stamp Challenge 1 - (I'm hoping I'm not too late!).  The theme is Anything Goes and here is my offering:

I had satisfyingly inky fingers after making this card and I'm pretty pleased with the result.

Come back tomorrow as I'll be sharing my son's birthday card - yes, he's a lovely April Fool!!

Happy Easter!

Just popping by to share a card I made recently.  I love the soft lilac colour of this shaped card:

I cut the designed the card shape and cut it and the butterfly out with my Cameo.  The flowers and swirls were cut with my Marianne Creatables.  I inked the edges with Distress Ink and added pearls.  Simples!

Hope you have a Happy Easter xxx

Bloglovin' ... and some cards

I've been reading messages over the last few weeks about the end of the road for the 'Follow' button on our blogs.  So, I decided to add the Bloglovin' button. I'm not sure if this works the same as 'Follow' so I'll see how it goes ... if you want to keep up-to-date with my blog, then please click the Bloglovin' button on the right!

Ok, now to share some cards I made over the weekend.  I used the fab Bubbles, Born to Shop and Go Green stamps.

I painted images on the first two cards with Distress Inks and used my Pans to add shading (love them!!)

I coloured the third image with my Promarkers and blended the edges with my Pans again.

Hope you're having a good week ... only 2 days till I break up for the Easter hols now ... whoop whoop!

A catch up :)

I went to GNPE at Harrogate on Saturday and shopped till my heart's content!  I also met up with my lovely, crafty friends and had a good natter and a brew.  Here's what I bought:

A lot, I know!   But it is only once a year ... and I promise not to buy anymore till next year (*fingers crossed behind my back*)!!

I've finally had time to photograph cards I have made over the last couple of weeks.  This first one was made using Pan Pastel and some Sheena Douglass stamps.  For my first time using Pan Pastel, I'm pretty pleased with it:

The next two cards were made with a pretty flower stamp by Chloe and coloured with Twinkling H2Os.  The sentiments are by Pink Petticoat:

These three cards were inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest.  I used some gorgeous new papers from Pink Petticoat and created my own version of the card:

Finally, I used my beautiful Blazing Poppies stamp from Indigo Blu and teamed it up with a sentiment stamp from Chloe.  I stamped and embossed with Platinum Wow powder and coloured the poppies with Twinkling H2Os:

Well, that's me caught up with everything now.
I hope you've had a lovely weekend xx

Blazing Poppies

I've finally had a chance to play with some new Indigo Blu stamps and H2Os today.  I created the background with the H2Os, Shimmer sprays, a mask, stamp and Distress Inks.

The image and sentiment were embossed with Wow Platinum Silver embossing powder.

I'm entering this card into the Indigo Blu blog challenge.

I've had a lovely Mother's Day - I've been spoilt by my boys, hubby cooked tea and I had time to craft - perfect!
Hope you've all had a lovely weekend too xx

Gorgeous butterflies

Just popping by to share a card I made recently.  I designed and cut the word and butterflies with my Cameo and I've used some beautiful Pink Petticoat papers.
Here it is:

The photo doesn't really do this card justice, the papers are a really pretty pink and I've inked the edges with my Distress Inks.

Hope you have a great weekend xx

Pink Petticoat meets Chloe

These are two of my favourite craft companies.  For this set of cards, I've used the new Isabelline papers and Lovely Mum sentiments from Pink Petticoat and a beautiful flower stamp from Chloe.

Here they are:

The papers and sentiments are printed onto linen card and I cut out the sentiments with my Spellbinders.  Then I stamped, cut out and glittered the flowers and added Card Candi and ribbon to finish them off.

Hope you've had a lovely weekend xx
