Four Seasons - Sneaky Peek 2!

Here's another sneaky peek of a fantastic new set from Little Claire's Designs. It's from the Room with a View range and is called 'Four Seasons'. I made this little tag book to showcase the four 'through the window' images:

I used distress inks and a flourish stamp to decorate the background and to colour the white dotty ribbon.
I coloured the images with Promarkers and used Glossy Accents to create a 'tile' effect.

I finished each page off with gems....

... and used Studio G wooden peg alphabet stamps to stamp the seasons.

For my second project, I made an Easter card using the window design:

I coloured the images with Promarkers and used my Nesties to cut the scalloped squares.

The stamp set comes with a range of seasonal and general greetings too.

At only £8.99 this set is a bargain!

Cute elephants

A quick and easy make, using Elephants in Squares!

I also used Little Claire's sentiments:

The pictures don't show it but the elephants, flowers, leaves and details on the sentiment stamp are sparkly as I coloured them first with atyou Spica pens then with Promarkers.

Hope you're having a great weekend x

All things sparkly!!

Over at Little Claire's Designs this week, their challenge is 'Sparkle'. What a fabulous challenge!

For my DT card I used the ever-so-cute Blossom Fairy stamp and sparkly papers from the Hideaway paper pad (both from Little Claire's Designs).

The sentiment stamp is also from Little Claire's.

I coloured in the image with my Promarkers and added extra sparkle with lots of glitter and glamour dust!

Oh Man!

Hi folks,

I've had to keep this card under wraps for a few days, just in case my hubby had a sneaky peek!!

I made it using the 'Oh Man!' stamp set from Little Claire's Designs. It's such a fab set and could be used for so many different occasions.

I was inspired by a demo I went to recently to use shrink plastic again (thanks Amy x) and it came in very handy for this card. I used the tie and beer mug stamps to make embellishments.

I paper-pieced the chair and footstool using paper from the 'Up, Up and Away' pack, which I also used for the backing paper.

The rest of the image and the beer glass were coloured in with my trusty Promarkers.
Thanks for looking :)
Nearly the weekend, yayy!

Happy Birthday, Pete xxxxx

Bike Set

It's May at last and here is the new club set from Little Claire's Designs. It really is a fabulous set, suitable for male and female cards.

For my first card I chose a simple black and white colour scheme, stamped and cut out the image 6 times to achieve a 3D effect:

I added silver card candy and added dots with a white gel pen.
Finally, I added Glamour Dust around the base layer.

For my second card, I made a circle easel card. I stamped the little dog too and sat him in the basket - how cute!!

Here is the side view:

Congratulations

I've been such a bad blogger recently!!! Rest assured though, there has been plenty going on behind the scenes - I just cant share it with you yet ;(

To see the new stamps I've been making cards with for Little Claire's Designs, tune into Create and Craft (freeview 36, satellite 671) on Thursday 19 May at 9am and 2pm. Steve will be demonstrating 4 new stamp sets in the first show and showcasing some of Little Claire's much-loved original stamps in the second show.

Here's a card I made using the Ribbon Banner set from The Cutting Cafe:

I used pink, textured paper from my stash and some extremely pretty card that I picked up at the Manchester Central show last year - I think it's from Hunkydory.

I was inspired to make a flower by Amy Shaw as I went to her demo in Fleetwood on Saturday. Unfortunately, my tissue paper flowers turned out like bow-ties!!! So I resorted to my tried and trusted technique to make a grungy flower :)

Amy will be posting a tutorial on her blog, so I'll have to watch carefully!!

Click on the link below for Amy's blog - she has made some beautiful projects

Hope it's sunny where you are xx
