Where has the time gone? Three weeks since my last post ... oops!
Here's a card and matching gift tag I made recently:
I used my new Floral Oval dies for the first time ... aren't they lush?
I rolled the rose on the tag using the organza ribbon and for the first one I've done, I'm pretty pleased with it.
How are your preparations going for Christmas? I've written and posted all my cards and just have local ones to deliver now. I still have pressies to buy and we haven't even got any decorations up yet!! Maybe it'll get done this weekend.
Whatever you're doing, have a great weekend xx
Card: Bazzill Bling
Embellishments: Spellbinders Floral Ovals; gems, organza ribbon from stash
Ballerina cut with my Cameo

Here's a card I made for my lovely Uncle and Auntie for their 40th Wedding Anniversary:
I used my favourite stamp, the Heart Wreath stamp, and added Rose Glitter Glass, a sparkly heart and beautiful silk crush ribbon (all from Stamps by Chloe).
I printed the sentiment and cut it with a Spellbinders Fancy Tag, then inked it with Adirondac Cranberry.
Happy Anniversary Uncle J and Auntie A xxx
Hope you're having a lovely weekend xx

A quick post to share a card I made last week:
I used the gorgeous heart wreath stamp from Stamps by Chloe and my fabby new letterbox stamps from Clarity Stamp.
I embossed the heart and the tiles with silver embossing powder, added some lush organza ribbon, candi and gems.
I had a fab time yesterday at the NEC ... I'm suffering now though with aching neck and legs! Never mind, it was definately worth it.
Have a lovely week xx

Well, last week flew by with sickness bugs, sleepless nights, a visit to 6th Form College ... oh and work as well!
I still haven't got round to photographing the beautiful cards I made at Maria's Clarity workshop last weekend but, in the meantime, here are some recent cards I've made:
These were made using fabulous sentiments from Pink Petticoat and a felt pointsettia cut with a Marianne die.
The cute baby stamps are from Little Claires.
I designed and cut these shaped cards and butterflies using my Silhouette Cameo. I made the grungy flowers myself.
Hope you all have a good week .... One week till half term for me yayy!!!

I was delighted to have been picked as one of the Top 3 over at A Gem of A Challenge. It's one of the first blog competitions I've entered for a long time, so I'm really pleased I entered it.
The card which won is here:
I've had a fabulous weekend. I spent yesterday at Clarity Stampers NW with the lovely Maria Simms, where we made three gorgeous cards (I'll share them tomorrow). And today, it's been housework (eugh!) and a lovely walk along the prom in the sunshine. Back on my head tomorrow though but there's only 2 more weeks till half term ... yayy!
Have a great week everyone xx

I got some yummy new Christmas embossing folders and dies recently and finally got round to having a play this weekend. Here's what I came up with:
I was pleased with how they turned out as I also used inks with the folders for the first time too. However, my hubby (who always gives me his honest opinion) doesn't like the gold one ... what do you think? Should I make the bow smaller ... add something else?
Hope you've all had a good weekend xx

It was my 17th wedding anniversary on Sunday and this is what I made for my wonderful hubby:
Circle frame and sentiment cut and printed with my Cameo;
Swirl stamps - Artistic Stamper
Ink - Walnut Stain Distress Ink
Embellishments - pearls, seambinding from stash; Card Candi (stamped with alphabet stamps)
Blue and Kraft card from stash
Frame painted with white acrylic paint and stamped with Black Soot DI. Then stamped with Versamark and brushed with gold and silver mica powder, then sprayed with gold Spray and Sparkle to seal it.
Split letter designed on Cameo Designer software and drawn with Silhouette pen on my Cameo. Mounted on black card and sprayed with god Spray and Sparkle. Flowers and hearts also cut on Cameo, then stamped with Versamark and dusted with mica powders.
The frame has taken pride of place in out lounge and my hubby was very pleased with it :)
I was worried he would think it was too girly!!
Anyway, it's back to work for me tomorrow ... cant believe that 6 weeks have gone so quickly. I need at least a couple more weeks to do what I had planned lol!!
Hope you're all having a fab week, enjoy the sun xx

I CANT believe it's over 3 weeks since I last posted! I have been so busy travelling up and down the country to look after my mum and trying to fit in school holiday 'stuff' too. Anyway, I'm glad to report the my mum is doing really well. She seems to be recovering a lot quicker that her first operation las year, so that's a big relief for me.
I also spent THREE whole days sorting out my craft stuff! (and it wasn't even that messy really lol) I know have a super-organised craft area and homes for everything :) The downside to that is, thought, that if I 'need' anything else, there might not be anywhere to store it!
I have also made quite a few cards since my last posting, some of them commissions others for personal use and I have even made some Christmas cards ... there, I've said it ... the 'C' word!
Far too much waffling from me now ... here are the cards:
inside the baby card.
For my son - cant believe he's 15!
Here are my first Christmas cards this year:
Lots of brayering and beautiful stamps from Indigo Blu
More brayering over snowflakes stamped with Versamark:
Phew! What a long post. I cant even promise the next one will be soon as I'm back at work next week ... the end of SIX weeks! Where did the time go? Roll on October half term!!!
Happy crafting and hugs xx
